Micah Systems Technologies - www.micahsystech.com

Micah Systems Technologies, Inc. (Micah) is an IT company headquartered in Landover, MD. The company was established in 1995. It is a minority, certified, small disadvantaged business which caters to the business needs of both public and private sector clients. Micah needed to restyle their look. They wanted new branding to attract more customers and to market their different services. A new logo, new colors, and new collateral (business cards, brochures, company letterhead, and conference display boards) were designed. Immediately Micah began receiving positive feedback about the new look. When at conferences, potential customers would stop and talk because they were intrigued by the logo. They want to know more about the company as a result. The new look started new conversations.

Queen Anne School - www.queenanne.org

Queen Anne is an independent, college preparatory, coeducational, day school for middle and upper school students located in Upper Marlboro, MD. They had a website however the look and feel of the website was not consistent. They wanted Micah to design a look and feel that would entice people to the site. They wanted the site to be easy to navigate and easy for their IT staff and end users to maintain or update. Micah reorganized the content and established consistent navigation throughout the site. Now Queen Anne is able to maintain their site and the staff is able to update pages using Micah designed templates.

Second Baptist Church, DC - www.secondbaptistchurchdc.org

Second Baptist Church (SBC) is the second oldest African Baptist Church located in downtown Washington, DC. The SBC website had an outdated style and outdated content. SBC wanted a new site that would attract new members as well as inform the congregation about the latest happenings at the church. SBC also needed a new domain name and a hosting service. Micah created a logo and designed a site that highlighted the personality of the congregation and gave guests a welcome feeling about the church. The site has a section for Happenings at the church, Interesting Facts about various members, and News Items. The site also contains a calendar which keeps members informed about church events.

Washington Baptist Seminary

Washington Baptist Seminary (WBS) was founded in 1926. It is located in downtown Washington, DC. The Seminary’s purpose is to train Christian ministers and religious workers. The Seminary did not have a website. They needed a website which could inform the student population about courses throughout the year and upcoming events. They also needed a new domain name and a hosting service. Micah helped WBS establish a new domain name that would be easy for the students and general public to remember. Micah also set up the hosting service for WBS. Micah designed a website for WBS which was informative to the current student body but also attracted potential students. The website traffic doubled in 3 months as a result of the new website.
